Certified Nursing Assistant CNA

Job Description

Brookdale offers an opportunity for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care, and to give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.

As a CNA, you will assist residents with dining, personal care needs, and perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living such as showers, bathroom assistance, and dressing/grooming.

Our CNA program aligns with state requirements, requiring successful completion of the State CNA/STNA course and maintenance of certification.

• Work with community management to provide personalized care for seniors.
• Update resident status at shift start and end.
• Check in with residents, assist with dining and personal care needs.
• Perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
• Assist with activities of daily living (showers, bathroom assistance, dressing/grooming).
• Maintain required State CNA/STNA certification.

• State‑tested CNA/STNA in Ohio.
• Completion of State CNA/STNA course; ongoing certification maintenance.
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient‑centered care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
