Position Summary:Hudson Technologies in Ormond Beach, Florida is seeking a foundational Quality Engineer to support our quality program. In this role, you will transition our shop floor from informal checks to a structured, data‑driven Quality Management System (QMS). Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role is responsible for supporting quality assurance initiatives, APQP and PPAP activities, metrology planning, process improvement projects, and systems compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 13485 quality management systems.
This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial engineer to evaluate, adapt, and formalize existing quality processes, establishing company‑wide inspection standards, and instilling a lasting culture of quality.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a precision manufacturing environment and possess strong problem‑solving, root cause analysis, and quality systems expertise. This position offers the opportunity to work cross‑functionally with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers to drive quality improvements and operational excellence. The QA Engineer will hold a critical role in the launch of new products by ensuring compliance and readiness by employing Advanced Product Quality Planning techniques.

Key Responsibilities- Perform activities of an Internal auditor and create appropriate reports per procedures.
- Communication of issues, containment activity, root cause analysis, corrective action, and effectiveness reviews.
- Define control plans for incoming material, in‑process, and final gate inspection workflows; and ensure these requirements flow down to suppliers.
- PFMEA
- For manufactured and vendor supplied products and services.
- Recommend improvements.
- Implement improvements within Quality group.
- Validate improvement activities in a timely manner for all areas.
