Job Description
The Administrative Assistant serves as a member of Leman Academy of Excellence to help meet the needs of the community. The role includes greeting, welcoming, and directing visitors; notifying appropriate team members; maintaining security and telecommunications; supplying information about the academy; and supporting the effective functioning of the school day.

Essential Functions andMinimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; 1 year postsecondary education preferred.
- AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance card and background check.
- First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Bilingual preferred.
- At least 2 years prior experience in a school or equivalent office setting.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with scholars, parents, co‑workers, and the public.
- Strong commitment to supporting the principles of excellence in education.
- Ability to manage conflict resolution with humility and service.
- Ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and detail.
- Working knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office; familiarity with other related software.
- Working knowledge of Student Accountability Information System (SAIS) or willingness to learn software such as Synergy or Power School.
- Ability to operate office equipment: fax, copier, computer, etc.
- Ability to set up and use an efficient filing system.
- Provide secretarial and clerical duties including: answering calls, greeting visitors, monitoring visitor access, directing to correct destinations, general administrative support, prepare/ edit correspondence, maintain enrollment database/files, file and retrieve documents, collect fees, assist with copying/class prep, schedule appointments, maintain office equipment, control inventory, maintain appearance and organization of front office.

Salary: $15.47 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with talent, experience, and education. Leman Academy offers a very competitive benefits package.
