Schedule: M–F (Flexible: 4/36 or 8-hour shifts)
Salary: $80k-$90k/annually.
Position SummaryThe Quality Engineer II supports the Quality Manager in ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for quality systems, testing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support AS9100 compliance and conduct internal/external audits
- Lead corrective actions and root cause analysis
- Interface with customers and suppliers (audits, reviews)
- Develop inspection and control plans (FAI per AS9102)
- Utilize statistical tools, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies
- Monitor quality metrics (DPPM) and implement improvements
- Support FRACAS, reliability analysis (MTBF/MTBUR), and MRB activities
- Oversee calibration and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (required)
- 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO
9001 standards - Experience with SPC, DOE, FMEA, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Aerospace, electronics, or FAA Repair Station experience preferred
