Senior Systems Engineer
This is an onsite position for a motivated, hands‑on Senior Systems Engineer who has experience with electro‑mechanical devices. The pay range is $50-$60/hr (depending on experience).
Responsibilities- Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of design principles, practices, and implementation in complex systems and assignments.
- Generates design concepts, participates in design reviews, development, and testing to assess performance against design specifications; performs reliability testing and assesses system interactions.
- Makes independent decisions.
- Assists in the development of manufacturing processes and troubleshoots issues to determine root cause and possible engineering solutions.
- TMV, test method development, DoE, data analysis (Python coding capability)
- Digital outputs of a sensor and analyze the data
- Test bed development
- Troubleshooting skills
- Developing comprehensive testing plans
- Executing hands‑on testing protocols
- Authoring detailed technical reports
- Managing the defect lifecycle (collection, documentation, and summarization for our development partner)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, or Software preferred)
- 8 years of experience
- Experience in an FDA or FAA regulated environment is a strong plus; medical device industry is ideal
