Join the Settling-In Team at La Posada at Pusch Ridge! We’re seeking organized, compassionate individuals to provide a key service to our community. As a Settling-In team member, you’ll help residents feel at home by assisting with organizing, unpacking, and arranging their personal belongings as they move in to our vibrant campus.

You’ll work alongside team members to ensure residents’ transitions are as seamless and stress‑free as possible. At La Posada, exceptional customer service is at the heart of everything we do because it is an integral component of our mission statement: to maximize the well‑being of seniors.

This position offers per diem compensation, meaning you can enjoy flexible hours that fit your schedule. Workload varies depending on how much you’d like to take on—perfect for someone seeking variety and flexibility.

Essential Functions
  • Polite and respectful to residents.
  • Unpack boxes.
  • Communicate with residents regarding placement of their belongings, dishes, clothing, linens, etc.
  • Make helpful suggestions when asked regarding placement of belongings and/or furniture.
  • Clean and dust furniture as needed and time permits.
  • Clean mirrors and glass as needed and time permits.
  • Show resident their storage area and parking space when asked and necessary.
  • Place work orders when needed.
  • Answer any questions and/or direct to the contact person when asked.
  • Dispose of all boxes, paper and trash at the end of the move.
  • Report resident total working hours on worksheet for monthly billing.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
  • Sensitivity to the needs, interests, and abilities of residents with varying cognitive levels.
