Job DescriptionAs an R&D Enterprise Tools Operations Specialist, you will serve as a trusted service provider for global R&D teams. You’ll manage system requests, support complex business applications, and identify opportunities to automate and streamline workflows. Your work ensures that scientists and engineers can focus on developing breakthrough products rather than navigating administrative or technical hurdles.
Responsibilities- Execute R&D System Requests:
Process and fulfill tool and system requests with accuracy, compliance, and attention to detail. - Deliver Expert Support:
Provide timely, professional, and empathetic assistance for operational issues and system challenges. - Subject Matter Expert:
Become the go-to expert for one or more enterprise R&D applications. - Develop Process Expertise:
Build deep knowledge of core R&D processes such as records management, lab data workflows, and change control. - Enhance Productivity:
Use your understanding of business data and organizational structures to streamline operations and reduce friction for R&D teams. - Anticipate Needs:
Understand R&D roles and priorities to proactively support users and improve their experience. - Maintain Global Service Excellence:
Collaborate effectively within a diverse, distributed team committed to high quality service delivery. - Drive Automation & Process Improvement:
- Identify manual or repetitive steps and propose digital solutions.
- Apply or develop automation and AI tools to reduce administrative workload.
- Ensure Data Integrity & Compliance:
Uphold regulated R&D standards and support audit readiness through accurate, compliant execution.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, or business discipline (preferred). - Experience:
3–5 years in operations, technical support, system administration, or equivalent academic/technical experience. - Communication:
Excellent written and verbal English for global collaboration. - Technical Agility:
Ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and processes. - Execution Excellence:
Proven track record of completing detailed, complex tasks with precision, consistency, and adherence to established procedures.
