Skills Required Primary (Must-Have)- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of procurement and supply chain experience.
- Previous procurement leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Aerospace industry experience highly preferred.
- Experience with electronic material buying.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and procurement best practices.
- Experience with inventory management, SIOP, and material planning.

- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and supplier inventory programs (Kanban, Consignment).
- Experience leading procurement teams and developing employees.
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Engineering or analytical degree preferred.
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) sourcing activities.
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Experience with FAR regulations and commercial aviation requirements.
- Global sourcing and low-cost region sourcing experience.
- Experience managing supplier scorecards, corrective actions, and supplier development programs.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
The Supply Chain Manager will lead all site procurement and supply chain operations while driving sourcing strategies, supplier performance, inventory optimization, and procurement excellence. This leadership role partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Division, and Global Procurement teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow, cost savings, supplier development, and continuous process improvements. The position also supports new product introductions, risk management initiatives, and strategic supplier partnerships to meet manufacturing and business objectives.
- Lead daily procurement operations supporting manufacturing requirements.
- Develop and execute annual procurement objectives, KPIs, and cost savings initiatives.
- Optimize purchasing activities while ensuring on-time material availability.
- Support inventory management and Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP).
- Develop sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Source suppliers for new products and support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
- Lead supplier negotiations and commercial contract management.
- Execute commodity strategies in partnership with division and corporate procurement teams.
- Develop supplier relationships and improve supplier performance.
- Conduct supplier evaluations, scorecards, corrective actions, and performance reviews.
- Implement supplier inventory programs including Kanban and Consignment.
- Manage supplier risk and ensure supply chain continuity.
- Drive Lean procurement initiatives and continuous process improvements.
- Optimize inventory levels while maintaining production requirements.
- Implement cost reduction and working capital improvement initiatives.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools and best procurement practices.
- Lead, mentor, and develop procurement staff.
- Manage hiring, performance evaluations, training, and employee development.
- Foster collaboration across Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
- Prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and government regulations.
- Support domestic and international procurement compliance requirements.
- Manage procurement risks and supplier performance issues.
- Ensure adherence to aerospace and commercial aviation standards where applicable.
