Travel PACU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Health Trust Workforce Solutions CHS is seeking a travel nurse RN Perioperative for a travel nursing job in Oro Valley, Arizona.

• Provides care to Post Anesthesia Care unit patients working with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical staff, and other personnel by utilizing the nursing process in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and hospital policy and procedures.
• Demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

• 2+ Years of experience in PACU
• Valid Arizona RN license; BLS & ACLS certification required
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

Duration: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts (12 hours, days). Shift schedule: 3/12’s –  and .

On‑call: 1‑12 hour call ) and 2‑24 hour call on weekends ) per six weeks.

Position: PACU RN. Bill rate: $65 per hour. The pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
