Hiring: FAA Quality Inspector 2 | Oro Valley, AZ | 1st Shift | $19–23/hr | 6-Month Contract
We are seeking a detail-oriented FAA Quality Inspector 2 to support aerospace production operations through incoming and final inspection activities. This role is responsible for ensuring products and components meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on materials and assemblies
- Review inspection records and maintain quality documentation
- Conduct visual and mechanical inspections using measuring tools
- Identify and report non-conformances and quality issues
- Support calibration records and inspection processes
- Create/review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and support AS9102 requirements
- 2+ years of quality inspection experience in aerospace, electronics, or manufacturing
- Experience with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of GD&T and inspection procedures
- FAIR/AS9102 experience strongly
- Safety-sensitive role; subject to random drug screening
- Must be comfortable working overtime/weekends as needed
- Immediate opportunity with potential for extension
