Research Scientist, Biotech Research
This role is responsible for performing laboratory research, development, and experimental activities to support scientific and product development initiatives. The position applies technical knowledge and independent judgment in designing, executing, and interpreting experiments that contribute to broader project objectives. Responsibilities include documenting findings, preparing technical reports, and conducting quantitative analyses.
The individual will present results to internal teams, stay current with scientific literature, and contribute to ongoing professional development. This role requires adherence to established quality and compliance standards, including regulated laboratory practices, and maintaining accurate and complete documentation. The position may also lead individual experiments or projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and design experimental protocols with limited supervision
- Conduct laboratory experiments, capturing detailed observations and analyzing results
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, summaries, and data analyses
- Maintain accurate and complete laboratory records and documentation
- Follow direction on routine work and apply guidance on new or complex assignments
- Identify opportunities to improve laboratory processes and workflows
- Support innovation efforts, including identification of potential intellectual property
- Solve problems of moderate complexity through analysis and evaluation of data
- Apply sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques within established guidelines
- Collaborate with cross?functional teams on technical projects or investigations
- Contribute as an active team member by providing ideas and input to project planning
- Train and support team members in areas of technical expertise
- Troubleshoot experimental issues and implement corrective actions
- Present methods, results, and findings to internal teams
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and promote a quality?focused mindset
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

Education- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant laboratory or research experience
- Working knowledge of core and specialized laboratory techniques
- Ability to review and interpret scientific literature for research applications
- Proficiency with common software tools, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation programs
- Strong analytical and problem?solving abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Detail?oriented with strong organizational capabilities
