In this vital full-time position, you will oversee Payukotayno:
James and Hudson Bay Family Services’ financial and administrative systems. Your experience in nonprofit or public sector finance—especially within Indigenous contexts—will allow you to ensure fiscal and regulatory alignment. Reporting to the Executive Director, you'll guide financial strategy, operational oversight, and compliance with funding requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop budget forecasts aligned with strategic priorities
• Oversee accounting functions and financial statements
• Manage procurement policies and vendor agreements
• Supervise administrative operations and staff
• Collaborate on funding applications and proposals
Requirements:
• CPA designation or equivalent accounting education
• 7–10 years in nonprofit or public sector finance
• Strong knowledge of Indigenous financial accountability
• Leadership in procurement and asset management
• Excellent strategic planning and communication skills
