Our client, a well known and well respected manufacturing or Water Treatment Equipment is seeking a Sales Person for the Ontario region. This person will manage channel partners within Ontario and some direct accounts. Candidates MUST have technical knowledge of Dosing Pumps / Metering Pumps either hands‑on in engineering or field service or in sales. We are open to someone coming from Service or Applications who is primed for a sales.
This will target industrial markets in the region.

- Identify and develop quality relationships through training, motivation, and accountability
- Responsible for developing, managing, and training of the industrial Channel Partner channel
- Implement the company sales and marketing strategies and customize them to align with market requirements in assigned region
- Undertake sales and marketing activities to grow opportunity pipeline and develop sales strategy and execution plan to meet revenue objectives
- Undertake client presentations, influence key stakeholders, obtain early involvement, identify the customers specification requirements
- Provide strong interface to the project delivery group to ensure a smooth transition of projects
- Provide market feedback to the organization (technology / sales / project delivery)
- Present timely reporting of order intake and forecasts on a monthly basis, strategic development, and development of the marketing requirements
- Provide accurate territory forecasting
- Develop and manage Industrial Channel Partner territory, customers, and new accounts
- Identify new opportunities for all manufactured products
- Provide sales call summaries, weekly summaries and maintain a customer database in electronic format (CRM – Sales Force)
- Provide proper vetting of projects and specific application opportunities
- Provide proposals as needed
- Work with Engineering and customers to maximize revenues
- Interact directly with Channel Partners/rep’s to provide specifications and define expectations
- Participate in lead generation at trade shows
- Possess detailed knowledge of products offered
- Initiate and innovate market strategies to increase sales and reduce costs
- Deliver product and application training/presentations to customers and prospects
- Assist with on-site equipment startups as needed
- Ensure customer issues are attended to appropriately and efficiently
- Represent and be a promoter of our company and products to the marketplace
- Role includes up to 50% travel within given territory, with occasional time on the road spent overnight
Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a sales role or hands‑on technical role, with a particular focus on engineered process equipment.
Experience with project quoting and understanding pricing calculations.
A degree/diploma in an engineering or technical field is required.
