SUBSTITUTE - Teacher
Start 2026 by empowering students at Orono Schools. Join us as a Substitute Teacher for a meaningful and flexible role where you ensure learning never stops.
You don't just fill a seat; you provide the consistency and support our students need to succeed every single day.
Job Summary:
* Teach a variety of lessons, depending on level and content area.
* Collaborate with other teachers to support student needs.
* Communicate effectively through available technology.
* Maintain high standards for Orono students.
Qualifications
* Current Minnesota Teaching License required.
* Understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies.
* Effective classroom management skills.
* Effective oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to use technology as an instructional tool.
Building/Site:
All School Sites - Substitutes pick their own preferences.
Schedule:
On-call and as-needed.
COMPENSATION:
FULL DAY: $190 - $200/day
HALF DAY:
Paid at 1/2 day
INSURANCE:
Insurance not provided.
RETIREMENT/PENSION:
Positions covered by Minnesota Teachers Retirement Association (TRA)
