Job Summary:
Are you an enthusiastic high school or college age student looking for a summer job that matters? Join the Spartan Kids team as a Spartan Kids Assistant! This is your chance to gain real‑world experience in education while helping create a summer that students will never forget.
You’ll be the “right hand” to our Lead Teachers, collaborating daily to build a nurturing, high‑energy environment for school‑age kids.

Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to understand daily tasks and priorities, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
- Set up and take down supplies and project materials daily, contributing to an interactive and stimulating learning environment.
- Assist with organizing and supervising Friday field trips, providing enriching experiences for students outside the classroom.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for students and families, building positive relationships and a sense of community.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the learning environment, ensuring the well‑being of all participants.
- Provide daily support to the Lead Teacher, assisting with classroom activities and student supervision as needed.
- Fun, nurturing, and caring personality, with a genuine passion for working with children.
- Highly organized and flexible, able to adapt to diverse tasks and responsibilities.
- Experience in child care is appreciated, demonstrating an understanding of the needs and interests of school‑age children.
- First‑aid and CPR certification are appreciated, highlighting a commitment to safety and well‑being.
- One to two years of college experience in a related field, especially education, is preferred, showcasing your academic background and interest in the field.
- Previous work experience with school‑age children (ages 5-12) is desirable, demonstrating practical skills and knowledge.
- Experience preparing and serving snacks is advantageous, contributing to the nutritional needs of students.
- Knowledge of the developmental needs of school‑age children, facilitating effective engagement and support.
- Effective communication skills, able to collaborate with colleagues and interact positively with students and families.
- Punctual and reliable, able to begin work shifts on time and fulfill scheduled hours.

- The Professionalism: You are punctual, reliable, and ready to jump into various tasks with a flexible attitude.
- The Background: We prefer 1-2 years of college experience (especially in Education) and appreciate any previous work with kids ages 5-12.
