* High School Diploma or GED equivalency
* CDE Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher

Please note:

To meet this requirement candidate must qualify for the CDE Child Development Permit within 12 months of employment by showing proof of 12 Semester units in early childhood education or child development, including at least one course of at least 3 semester units in each of the following core areas: a) Child/human growth and development; b) Child, family and community, or child and family relations;

c) Programs/curriculum Applicant must apply for CDE Child Development Associate Teacher Permit within 12 months of employment
* The required 12 semester units must include 3 semester units in infant/toddler early childhood development
* Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED certification within 30 days of employment
* Must pass a preschool health screening and provide proof of childhood immunizations
