The Butte College Foundation seeks a dynamic Foundation Events Specialist to lead and support events that connect donors, alums, and the campus community. This role plays a key part in bringing meaningful events to life that inspire giving and strengthen community relationships.
Reporting to the Program Coordinator, the specialist oversees fundraising and stewardship events—including the annual gala, alum gatherings, scholarship ceremonies, and donor receptions—and partners with college departments to support their fundraising events and sponsorship outreach.
Work ScheduleMonday‑Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.;
Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Summer schedule: Monday‑Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Friday off)
- Associate degree
* or equivalent
* AND two (2) years of experience closely related to this role, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
* Associate degree equivalency is a 1‑to‑1 equivalence: one year of responsible work experience for each full year of college (24‑30 units).
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS- Valid driver’s license required when travel is necessary.
- Travel may be required for various off‑site meetings, trainings, conferences, and events.
