Instructional Aide
Under the direction of the classroom teacher and site administration, the Instructional Aide assists in the supervision, instruction, and support of students in classroom and instructional settings. The Instructional Aide works with individual students and small groups to reinforce instructional concepts, support classroom activities, and assist students who may have academic, behavioral, physical, or educational challenges. This position may provide support in specialized instructional programs and requires the ability to exercise independent judgment, initiative, and effective communication skills while assisting with the implementation of instructional activities and behavior support strategies.
The Instructional Aide helps maintain a positive, safe, and productive learning environment that supports student success and educational goals. This is a 7 hrs p/day;
Monday - Friday;
School Day Only (195 days per year) Position

This position is funded through Proposition 28 and is contingent upon continued program funding and district needs.
Applicants selected for employment will be required to complete fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI, provide proof of TB clearance, and satisfy all district pre-employment requirements prior to beginning employment.
