Instructional Para-Educator
The Instructional Para-Educator's primary responsibility is to support classroom teachers in delivering effective instruction and maintaining a positive learning environment. Under the direction of the teacher, the Para-Educator assists with the implementation of lessons, classroom activities, and instructional plans. The Para-Educator works closely with individual students and small groups to reinforce academic concepts, provide additional practice, and support student engagement. This may include assisting students with a range of learning needs, including those who are academically, physically, or developmentally challenged.
In addition, the Para-Educator helps monitor student behavior, supports classroom management strategies, and may assist with preparing instructional materials, organizing classroom resources, and supervising students during various activities throughout the school day. The ideal candidate demonstrates patience, flexibility, and a commitment to supporting student success while working collaboratively with teachers and school staff to create an inclusive and supportive educational environment.

This positions primary responsibility is to assist classroom teachers in the conduct of lessons and other classroom activities. Tutor individual students which may be physically or educationally challenged and works with small groups of students. Assist classroom teacher in supervising students on field trips, job sites, and other activities.
