Position: SAFETY TECHNICIAN

WE ARE HIRING! We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Technician to join our team. This role is essential in promoting a safe work environment by providing on-site safety support, conducting training, and ensuring compliance with key safety regulations and standards, including OSHA, ANSI, DOT, MSHA, EPA, and NFPA. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of safety experience, holds a CTSP certification, and thrives in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

Knowledge of ANSI standards related to workplace safety and equipment use is critical for success in this role. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are preferred. Join us and play a vital role in fostering a culture of safety while contributing to our company's success.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate, document, and ensure all employees at the site receive the company's required safety training and all site-specific training as well. Conduct safety meetings and training programs for employees.
• Perform job hazard analysis to identify hazards within the workplace. Stop any operations if the health, safety, or environmental risks are unacceptable. Complete Safety Audits. Coach and guide employees and management regarding safety compliance issues and safe product applications.
• Assist with the administration of Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations such as OSHA, ANSI, DOT, MSHA, EPA, and NFPA.
• Participate in and lead safety initiatives, meetings, and programs as required by the customer. Customer safety training may be provided as approved by the Safety Training Department. Work with job site safety personnel to identify and resolve safety issues.
• Investigate incidents involving company property, employees, or temporary employees. Prepare documentation to ensure an adequate investigation and preservation of evidence is completed.
