RN - Registered Nurse - All Shifts - $7,500 sign on bonus

A Critical Access Hospital in Northern California is launching a brand-new Skilled Nursing Facility, and they’re actively building out the team. This is a chance to get in at the ground level — high visibility, real input, and the ability to help shape a new program.

This position is responsible for the delivery of resident care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, evaluation and documenting direct and indirect nursing care in accordance with the physician's plan of care. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient resident care delivery and the achievement of desired resident outcomes. Supports the organization vision and mission.

Utilizes knowledge of resident’s age and cultural diversity into the provision of resident care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in resident care.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • At least one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse.

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current California RN license.
  • Current certification in CPR.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care including but not limited to administering treatments and medications, interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating a plan of care, collaborating with other health care providers, and providing education to residents and/or significant others
Responsibilities:
  • Collects resident health data.
  • Perform admission, discharge, and transfer procedures, and assist others with resident’s activities and care.
  • Participate in Care Conference with IDT.
  • Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnoses/resident problems.
  • Identifies expected outcomes individualized to the resident.
