Field Mechanic

Express Employment is seeking a skilled Field Equipment Mechanic who has their own tools to join our team. This role requires a motivated individual with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of maintaining and repairing construction and industrial equipment. Knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, gas, and diesel machinery is essential. This position requires 1-2 years of current experience.

Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: $33 - $35/Hour DOE

• Maintain and repair various construction equipment and tools for safe operation.
• Perform equipment check-in/check-out and inspections for damage, fuel levels, and usage.
• Load/unload equipment and handle deliveries from vendors.
• Diagnose, evaluate, and complete necessary repairs.
• Follow company operational procedures and safety standards.
• Manage parts inventory and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist customers with inquiries regarding equipment use and rental.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• On-site repairs on equipment.

• Current 5-10 years of mechanic experience in equipment rental, construction, or a related field.
• Must have your own tools.
• Must be able to know how to read electrical and hydraulic schematic diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, gas, and diesel machinery.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Equipment Industry training is preferred.
• Must provide great customer service and know how to de-escalate a situation.
