Your Opportunity as the Analyst, Trade Payments
The Analyst, Trade Payments role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant administration of trade payment programs, including Broker Commissions, Bottle Bill Fees, Tonnage, and LDI Funding. This position supports the end‑to‑end payment process by partnering with Sales Operations, Customer Data, Information Systems, Regulatory, Accounts Payable, and Customer Logistics teams to align program requirements, maintain supporting data and reporting, manage exception processes, process payments, and ensure proper ledger recording through journal entries.

Work ArrangementsHybrid – onsite a minimum of 9 days a month, primarily during core weeks as determined by the Company; may require more days as business needs dictate.
Responsibilities- Manage the calculation and payment of all broker commissions based on sales and deduction data for all markets.
- Manage all manual brokerage payment adjustments required on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Prepare monthly journal entries to record brokerage calculation and adjustments in the general ledger accurately.
- Prepare and distribute monthly broker commission statement packages.
- Research, analyze, and resolve brokerage calculation issues and discrepancies by collaborating with appropriate internal partners.
- Prepare additional reporting requests, commission reviews, and ad‑hoc questions from brokers.
- Coordinate with internal IS partners to develop enhancements within the brokerage process.
- Prepare the calculation, reporting, and payment of bottle deposits and recycling fees required in various states.
- Review and approve weekly invoices from a third‑party recycling agent.
- Coordinate with internal partners to ensure all applicable bottle items are accurately accounted for in reporting.
- Prepare reporting of tonnage fees required in 30 states on a quarterly, semi‑annual, or annual basis.
- Coordinate with internal partners to ensure each state’s unique requirements are compliant within our reporting.
- Coordinate various state audits.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least one year of related business experience in Supply Chain or Financial Accounting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups).
- Ability to analyze large data sets, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Effective communication across multiple departments and leadership levels.
- Highly detail‑oriented and organized.
- Experience with broker commission calculation processes.
- Experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods environment.
