Developer, IS Supply Chain

Location: Orrville, OH (Close proximity to Cleveland/Akron)

Work Arrangements: Hybrid - onsite minimum 9 days a month primarily during core weeks as determined by the Company; maybe more as business needs require

In This Role You Will

• Executes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support existing business processes
• Learns support model, provides troubleshooting and fixes for software issues and interfaces with 3rd party vendors
• Follows defined support call paths including status updates in case management tool
• Validates and monitors live solutions
• Contributes to root cause identification, prevention, and maintenance activities

Application Delivery

• Writes code or configures software based upon technical designs
• Adheres to documented standards for development, code promotion, and change management
• Executes unit testing to ensure new functionality meets technical design
• Utilizes understanding of data transformation, interface design, and other design principles to contribute to technical specifications and solution designs
• Supports go-live and hypercare activities

What we are looking for:

• Prior experience with technical delivery and familiarity with software development lifecycle
• Knowledge of integration methods and API types
• Knowledge of modern IT concepts (Cloud Computing, Infrastructure as Code, Dev Ops)
• Knowledge of enterprise toolsets for integration and/or reporting
• Ability and desire to learn both legacy and trending technology
• Foundation in relational databases and database technology
• Foundation in software security principles, including secure coding and data protection
• High personal standards and integrity
• Embraces a customer service mindset
• Effective spoken and written communication skills
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills, with ability to conceptualize technical concepts
