Associate Sourcing Manager, Packaging

• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business goals and procurement objectives
• Execute and maintain existing category strategies in partnership with the Sourcing Manager
• Manage day-to-day supplier relationships, including performance reviews, order support, and issue resolution/escalation
• Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and resolve supplier and category issues across plant and co-manufacturing locations
• Analyze spend and forecast data to identify trends and optimization opportunities
• Manage category spend and provide cost forecasts for annual budgeting and monthly financial reviews
• Provide procurement support for new product launches, seasonal rotations, POP displays, value engineering initiatives, and ongoing production needs
• Monitor market trends, price indices, and supplier capacity
• Maintain category, item, and pricing data in systems such as Oracle, Prodika, and Aire
• Support RFP/bid processes through data gathering, bid analysis, and supplier communication
• Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, service levels, and terms
• Collaborate on transformation, sustainability, and cost-savings initiatives
• Build relationships with business leaders and the packaging supply base
• Support cross-training and category backup coverage

• Bachelor's degree
• At least 2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or a related field
• Strong relationship management skills and ability to build trust across all organizational levels
• Effective communication, business acumen, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and recommendation skills
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities across categories, business units, and initiatives
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapt to change
• Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and work effectively in a somewhat self-directed environment
• Willingness to travel up to 10% to supplier and plant locations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with ERP/sourcing systems such as Oracle
• CPG or packaging industry experience

Demonstrates expertise in sourcing and procurement strategies, with a strong focus on supplier relationship management, data analysis, and cost optimization. Proficient in utilizing ERP systems and Microsoft Excel to support procurement processes and financial reviews.
