SUMMARYThe Manufacturing Quality & Process Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes and quality systems to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations that meet customer and regulatory requirements. This position serves as the primary liaison between manufacturing, engineering, customers, and suppliers on quality-related matters while also driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the division.
The role combines quality assurance, process engineering, operational excellence, and new product introduction responsibilities. The Manufacturing Quality & Process Engineer leads efforts to improve product quality, increase manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, optimize equipment and processes, and support compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards. Working cross-functionally with production, engineering, and management teams, this position utilizes Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and problem‑solving methodologies to improve overall business performance and customer satisfaction.
KeyAreas of Responsibility Quality Management & Assurance
Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, inspection methods, testing procedures, and evaluation systems.
Lead deployment and continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements.
Develop sampling plans, quality metrics, and reporting systems to monitor product and process performance.
Manage corrective and preventive action processes, warranty claims, RMAs, VOC programs, and nonconforming material disposition.
Coordinate internal and external audits and support customer and regulatory compliance activities.
Serve as the primary quality liaison with customers and suppliers.
Manufacturing & Process EngineeringDesign, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes, workflows, equipment, tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
Support new product introductions by developing manufacturing methods, process parameters, and production readiness plans.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production, quality, and equipment issues.
Develop standard work instructions, process documentation, capacity studies, and manufacturing specifications.
Evaluate and improve production equipment, testing systems, and measurement processes.
Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve productivity, capacity, quality, and cost performance.
Analyze operational data to drive process improvements and support business decisions.
Facilitate cross‑functional improvement projects and employee engagement in quality initiatives.
