Jarrett Companies is looking for a reliable, skilled Facilities Maintenance Contractor to support general repair and upkeep across our locations on an as-needed basis. This is a 1099 independent contractor role — perfect for a self-starter who takes pride in their craft and can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.

You’ll handle a variety of hands‑on maintenance tasks across our commercial and warehouse facilities, including:

• Light bulb and fixture replacements
• Ceiling tile replacement and drop ceiling repairs
• Basic plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, supply lines)
• Minor drywall patching and touch‑up painting
• Door hardware adjustments and replacements
• General carpentry and furniture assembly or repair
• Drain unclogging and minor water issues
• HVAC filter and vent replacements
• Office furniture assembly and relocation
• Facility walk-throughs and maintenance assessments

• Hands‑on experience in facilities maintenance, handyman work, or a related trade
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve common building issues
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical safety, and general construction
• Reliable transportation to our service locations
• Own basic hand tools (specialty equipment discussed per job)
• Clear communicator who keeps the team informed and flags issues promptly

• Primary service areas:
  Orrville, Seville, and Wooster, OH
• Secondary area:
  Kent, OH
• Work is on‑call and as‑needed — no guaranteed hours
