A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to make a meaningful impact over the 2026–2027 school year. This contract role, based near Orting, WA, involves providing comprehensive psychological services to students on a full‑time, in‑person basis. Working approximately 37 hours per week from late August 2026 through mid‑June 2027, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to support student development and well‑being.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Knowledge of evidence‑based interventions and assessment tools
- Experience conducting psycho educational assessments and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
- Prior experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments
- Interpret testing results and provide recommendations for instructional and behavioral strategies
- Develop and participate in IEP meetings, contributing to intervention planning
- Offer crisis intervention services and support student behavioral health
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to foster a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to established timelines
- Stay current with best practices and professional development in the field

Compensation for this position ranges from $47.24 to $67.24. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
