Occupational Therapist (OT)

We are seeking a dedicated, skilled, and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our full-time team at one of our facilities. The ideal candidate will work with patients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions that help them regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities.

Setting:
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Location:

Orting, WA 98360

Hours:

Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday (No weekend rotation)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized occupational therapy assessments and treatments to residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
  • Create personalized therapy plans that address residents’ specific goals, challenges, and functional needs.
  • Foster independence in daily living tasks by recommending adaptive strategies and assistive devices.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care for each resident.
  • Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on strategies to enhance rehabilitation and quality of life.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT).
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is preferred, but not required.
