Assistant Golf Coach (Non-Continuing)

Orting High School is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Golf Coach. Experience preferred in coaching/participating in golf. Knowledge of golf techniques and strategies required. Ability to meet all W.I.A.A. requirements for the Washington State Coaching Standards. Ability to communicate positively and effectively with students, parents, staff, and community members. Effective written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational skills necessary to support running a solid high school program.

Successful experience working with teenage athletes. Ability to motivate teens to reach their highest potential academically through sportsmanship.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school graduate or have completed a graduation equivalency diploma (GED) program
• At least 19 years of age to be an assistant coach
• Current first aid and CPR training
• Flexible schedule
• Must be available immediately after school - 2:15 pm
