• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 4-6+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP principles
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with fixed assets and capital project accounting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload
• Available during the first 7 working days following the month-end close
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Able to work in a safety-sensitive environment

Responsibilities

• Lead full General Ledger oversight and maintenance
• Perform month-end close and prepare financial reports
• Prepare journal entries, including accruals, reclassifications, and adjustments
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules
• Track and close capital projects
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Manage Arkansas sales and use tax reporting
• Support audit and tax documentation preparation
• Conduct inventory and asset verification
• Collaborate with finance leadership to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
• Maintain reporting deadlines and high-volume accounting cycles
