Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 4-6+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with fixed assets and capital project accounting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload
- Available during the first 7 working days following the month‑end close
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Able to work in a safety‑sensitive environment
- Lead full General Ledger oversight and maintenance
- Perform month‑end close and prepare financial reports
- Prepare journal entries, including accruals, reclassifications, and adjustments
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules
- Track and close capital projects
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Manage Arkansas sales and use tax reporting
- Support audit and tax documentation preparation
- Conduct inventory and asset verification
- Collaborate with finance leadership to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
- Maintain reporting deadlines and high‑volume accounting cycles
