Dock Operations ManagerThis Job Will Have The Following Responsibilities
- Site lead, responsible for overseeing operations, maintenance and ensuring the site is operated in a safe manner, in compliance with customer contractual requirements, and applicable local, state and federal regulations
- Responsible for direct interface with customers, vendors, regulatory agencies and other third parties
- Financial management of site operations (P&L, Expense Management, and Capital Investment)
- Continuous improvement and revenue growth
- Managing a team of around 50 to 60 direct reports
- Handle all incoming and outgoing port activity on the Mississippi River
Qualifications & Requirements
- 4+ years of operations management experience in the steel (mill and scrap operations), aggregate, construction or other related industries
- Must have experience with preventive maintenance programs and procedures, and industrial safety programs
- Experience working in and leading a maintenance department is preferred, to include knowledge of heavy equipment operations
- Knowledgeable in the use of computer software (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Email, Excel, Word, etc.)
