Family Nurse Practitioner

In a manner consistent and supportive of our values, the Provider is responsible for delivering high‑quality health care within Fast Pace Health’s scope of services while achieving optimum patient satisfaction. The Provider must be able to work in a team‑oriented environment, be flexible to adapt to new technologies and protocols in a quickly evolving practice setting. They must have the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment and be responsible for providing outstanding patient service within the clinic and through various virtual communication channels, while maintaining a compassionate and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings and meet patient volume goals as determined.
  • Lead clinic staff in behaviors, actions and attitude to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Perform responsibilities included on the SCRIBE job description.
  • Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
  • Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance to ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Actively engage with clinical leadership and elevate to management when necessary to resolve concerns and ensure adherence to company values.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient charts and forward charts as appropriate on a daily basis.
  • Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and Supervising Physicians.
  • Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
  • Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with attention to patient‑centric care, safety, cost, and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment within both in‑patient clinic and virtual settings.
  • Pursue queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion to ensure proper follow‑up.
  • Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications responsibly, and educate patients on treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and complete E/M training.
  • Perform responsibilities within standard NP protocols.
  • Complete all mandatory compliance training and maintain quality of care standards.
  • Adhere to the core values of the company: teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
  • Recommend ideas to improve overall patient experience and care.
  • Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care.
  • Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitate introductions, and provide clinic tours and process overviews.
  • Assist new employees with learning activities and complete required training.
  • Provide job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities during new employee training.
  • Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees and promote a positive work environment.
  • Perform physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental functions as specified on the physical demands.
  • Be knowledgeable and comply with company standards of operations.
  • Promote and maintain a respectful culture of confidentiality among employees, employers, and business.
  • Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
  • Preferred experience working as a telehealth clinician.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • PRN employees are required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month.
  • Full‑time employees are required to work 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend.
Experience Requirements
  • Additional requirements and responsibilities for ancillary providers.
  • Responsible for on‑call duties periodically throughout the year.
  • Level 1:
    New graduate with up to 1 year of experience as a nurse practitioner.
  • Level 2:
    Nurse practitioner with over 1 year of experience and less than 5 years of experience.
  • Level 3:
    Nurse practitioner with over 5 years of experience and less than 10 years of experience.
