The EPR & Environmental Compliance Coordinator supports the organization’s regulatory compliance obligations by preparing and maintaining Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) reports, administering the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) library, and supporting reporting under the Federal Plastics Registry (FPR). The role focuses on data collection, validation, documentation control, and timely regulatory submissions.

  • What will you work on?

  • Collect and maintain product packaging information.
  • Collect, validate, and compile product, packaging, and sales data for EPR, FPR and environmental programs reporting.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to obtain required data inputs.
  • Measure and collect data sample at warehouse.
  • Prepare draft reports and supporting documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs) to obtain required data and confirmations.
  • Track reporting deadlines and maintain compliance calendars.
  • Support audits, verifications, and regulatory inquiries by preparing data and documentation.
  • Maintain records supporting report submissions and audit readiness.
  • Process invoices and submit payment requests to the Finance Department.
  • Collect Safety Data Sheets (SDS) from suppliers and vendors.
  • Organize and maintain a centralized SDS library or database.
  • Track SDS and request updated SDSs from suppliers as required.
  • Ensure SDSs are accessible to internal teams, customers, and regulatory requests.
  • Maintain document control, version tracking, and retention practices.
  • Perform other job-related duties/projects as assigned.
  • To be successful you will have:

  • Post-secondary education in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Regulatory Affairs, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in environmental compliance, regulatory reporting, or data/document management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel and document management systems.
  • Preference given to experience with Canadian EPR program and FPR reporting.
  • What you bring to the team:
