Data Entry Clerk

Location: Whitby

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support a non-profit organization in Whitby, Ontario. This is a Long-term Contract position that requires on-site attendance from Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will help maintain accurate records, manage incoming documents, and provide administrative support through careful data handling and communication.

Responsibilities:

• Enter and update information in internal records with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Review documents for completeness and correct errors to maintain reliable data quality.

• Handle faxed and scanned materials, ensuring documents are received, organized, and stored properly.

• Retrieve files and records as needed to support daily administrative operations.

• Prepare and manage email correspondence related to document handling and routine information requests.

• Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word to maintain files, track information, and produce basic documentation.

• Organize physical and digital records so information can be accessed efficiently by the team.

• Perform basic calculations and verify numerical information when entering data into systems.
