Join Ren's Pets as an Associate Category Manager and engage in product commercialization in the pet industry. This temporary role based in Puslinch requires a visionary approach to trend management.
Reporting to the Director of Merchandising and Category Management, you’ll guide efforts to optimize sales and margins for assigned categories. Collaborate with suppliers and the marketing team to launch effective campaigns, while implementing category development and promotional strategies that underline the success of the company.
Key Responsibilities- Lead performance reviews to achieve business objectives
- Perform line reviews and vendor negotiations regularly
- Direct the execution of targeted marketing campaigns
- Coordinate supplier sourcing and assortment strategies
- Analyze trends for informed category decisions
- More than three years in merchandising and product management
- Diploma or degree in operations or related discipline
- Knowledge of eCommerce and Omni-channel business
- Excellent negotiation and analytical abilities
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and SAP tools
