G360 Research Finance Manager, Guelph

Lead the financial strategy at MG360, University of Guelph, as a Manager of Finance for Grants and Contracts, responsible for overseeing research funding and compliance operations.

This is a temporary full-time position until May 2028, focusing on advancing innovative groundwater science through strategic financial management. You will work closely with university researchers, administrative departments, and external partners to ensure effective oversight of contracts and grants, contributing to the long-term sustainability of research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise financial planning and reporting for research

• Oversee grant management and funding compliance

• Assist with financial reporting for senior leadership

• Develop relationships to facilitate project administration

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• At least four years of relevant experience

• Expertise in financial forecasting and reporting

• Strong organizational and communication abilities

• CPA progression is beneficial
