Senior Director, Accounting and Finance Systems

Responsibilities

Oversee a large Accounts Payable team responsible for daily reconciliations and cheque issuances.

Provide guidance, leadership, and oversight to AP and AR functions/teams with a high degree of detail orientation and efficiency.

Lead a team of Business Analysts responsible for the maintenance and improvements of the finance systems and software.

Direct Finance Transformation initiatives, partnering cross‑functionally to lead projects that increase the efficiency of finance related systems and software across the entire organization.

Lead a team of three direct reports and approximately 30 staff members.

Collaborate closely with senior leadership within the finance department.

Qualifications

CPA designation is required

Demonstrated experience leading AP/AR teams

Demonstrated experience leading complex finance systems changes, and a strong ability to lead systems related projects.

Strong technical accounting expertise, ideally with experience from public accounting.

Strong leadership experience, capable of managing a large team and prioritizing multiple tasks effectively.

A level‑headed personality with strong influencing and collaborative skills.
