Accounting Analyst in Canadian Real Estate

Our client seeks an experienced Accounting Analyst to enhance their growing finance team. With a focus on commercial and retail properties, you will engage in financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys cross-functional collaboration while developing expertise within property accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records for assigned properties

• Prepare detailed monthly financial statements and reconciliations

• Conduct variance analysis of revenue and expenses

• Set up tenant leases in Yardi and handle EFT maintenance

• Collaborate with various internal teams on accounting projects

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years in relevant accounting experience

• Background in commercial real estate or property accounting

• Yardi software experience strongly preferred

• CPA designation considered an asset

• Excellent communication and prioritization skills
