Location: Whitby
Lead financial strategies as a Financial Analyst at Ontario Shores. This role emphasizes budget planning and analytical support in a vibrant healthcare setting.
Reporting to the Manager of Financial Reporting, you will assist in efficient budgeting and forecasting for the Hospital and its Foundation. Your expertise will be key in collaborating with internal departments to support financial projects and ensure the integrity of financial records. Participating in annual budget preparation and monthly variance analyses are core aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with necessary financial guidelines
• Participate in variance analysis and compliance assessments
• Complete monthly account reconciliations promptly
• Engage in cost-benefit modeling for informed decision-making
• Undertake ad hoc financial analyses and special projects
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in business or related field
• Active membership as a CPA is mandatory
• Minimum of five years relevant financial experience
• Strong analytical skills with Microsoft Excel mastery
• Background in healthcare finance is a plus
