Salary:
Up to $75K
Key Responsibilities Prepare corporate documentation including articles of incorporation, amendments, amalgamations, dissolutions, and revivals
Draft resolutions and other transactional documents
Register business names and maintain corporate records
Conduct corporate and regulatory searches
Prepare and file annual resolutions and compliance documents
Manage and coordinate a busy lawyer’s calendar, meetings, and deadlines
Provide general administrative and legal support within a fast-paced corporate practice
Assist with PPSA registrations and filings
Utilize legal tools and software such as Appara, MS Office, Net Documents, Soluno
Qualifications Law Clerk or Legal Assistant Diploma (or equivalent education)
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a corporate law role
Proficiency with legal software and document management tools; experience with Appara, Net Documents, Soluno, and PPSA systems is an asset
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with lawyers, clients, and professionals
Comfortable working independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment
Self-motivated and proactive
