Location: Whitby
We are seeking a Lead Pastor for our evangelical Chinese church in a close-knit town. This role focuses on leading pastoral care and outreach ministries with passion.
A commitment to sound biblical teachings and a robust evangelical faith will define your ministry here. Applicants should have a visionary approach toward discipleship and a heart for community engagement. Your minimum three years of pastoral experience will contribute to developing a thriving church environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the church in outreach and care ministries
• Engage in evangelism and effective discipleship efforts
• Collaborate with deacons and church leaders
• Organize church events that foster community ties
• Support spiritual growth and development among members
Requirements:
• Formal theological training from an accredited seminary
• Preferred three years of pastoral experience in North America
• Fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese for effective ministry
• Vision for impactful ministry in a small-town context
• Proficiency in English is advantageous
