In the role of Cook II, you will leverage your minimum two years of cooking experience to craft delectable, nutritious meals for residents. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, adherence to dietary restrictions, and maintaining exemplary kitchen hygiene. You will work under the guidance of the Dining Services Manager, playing a vital role in staff training and meal presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cook and plate meals to meet residents' dietary needs

• Oversee food safety and sanitation practices

• Engage in supervising and training kitchen staff

• Manage food inventory and assist in ordering supplies

• Complete documentation for food temperature compliance

Requirements:

Required:

minimum grade 12 education

• At least 2 years of relevant cooking experience

• Preferred:
Red Seal certificate in food preparation

• Strong knife skills and food safety knowledge

• Effective teamwork and communication skills
