GFL Environmental is seeking an Environmental Lab Technician in Bowmanville, ON to deliver exemplary laboratory services. Experience in sampling, analysis, and compliance is vital for this role.
In this position, you will assist with waste classification, coordinate with production staff, and manage lab operations. The role emphasizes analytical testing and adherence to health and safety regulations, crucial for effective waste management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide sampling and customer technical support
• Conduct routine laboratory analyses and reporting
• Operate lab vehicles and equipment safely
• Maintain data management systems and records
• Assist in assembling and disassembling lab packs
Requirements:
• Diploma in Environmental or Chemical Engineering preferred
• Previous laboratory experience an asset
• Proficient in computer applications, mainly MS Office
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices
• Flexibility to work required shifts and overtime
