Linamar Industrial Electrician

Position: Linamar Industrial Electrician Needed
Support Linamar as an Industrial Electrician, specializing in electrical installations and maintenance. This role demands adherence to safety standards and the Ontario Electrical Code.

Working with limited direction, you will interpret schematics, install electrical systems, and ensure compliance with industry standards. You'll also be responsible for testing electrical equipment, managing spare parts needs, and providing valuable mentorship to apprentices, enhancing their skill sets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure inspection compliance with electrical standards

• Install and test electrical and electronic systems

• Log electrical changes and updates accurately

• Connect new equipment per Ontario Electrical Code

• Coordinate with contractors and plant systems

Requirements:

• Completion of technical school and apprenticeship

• Licensed Industrial Electrician (442A)

• Proficient troubleshooting and repair skills

• Effective communication and collaboration skills

• Knowledge of electrical and security systems is an asset
