Licensed Lead Hand Diesel Mechanic

Join Rush Truck Centres of Canada as a Licensed Lead Hand Diesel Mechanic in Oshawa. This full-time position offers the chance to provide technical leadership while ensuring quality repairs and excellent customer service.

As a Lead Hand Technician, you will report directly to the Service Manager, focusing on diagnosing issues and overseeing repairs on trucks, buses, and trailers.

Your role includes providing technical and administrative support to the team, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining service quality. You will also motivate and monitor technicians, while handling customer interactions professionally and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with OHSA regulations and safety policies

• Provide technical support to shop technicians

• Maintain service quality on the shop floor

• Communicate job status efficiently with Service Advisors

• Review repair orders for accuracy before job assignments

Requirements:

• Licensed Technician with 310T Certification

• Strong communication skills and a quality-driven approach

• Valid Driver's License and good driving record

• SAP experience preferred

• AZ/DZ License is an asset
