Elevate your career with the Upper Grand District School Board as an HVAC Mechanic. This full-time position directly supports student environments through effective HVAC system management and repair.
As a key member of the Maintenance team, you will be tasked with maintaining and repairing HVAC systems across all UGDSB facilities. A valid ON Certificate of Qualification and a Gas Fitter 1 License are essential to excel in this role. Your job will also encompass troubleshooting, system inspections, and compliance with safety regulations to ensure optimal operation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment
• Carry out annual inspections and preventive tasks
• Collaborate with colleagues on repair efforts
• Analyze blueprints and facility layouts
• Execute safe working practices and regulations
Requirements:
• Valid Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic Certificate (313A)
• Necessary Gas Fitter 1 License
• Must hold Ozone Depletion Prevention Card (ODP)
• Valid Ontario driver's license required
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
