Candidates should possess a strong background in welding, with at least 3-5 years in a similar field. The Welder Fitter role involves reading complex schematics and performing various welding tasks independently or collaboratively. A commitment to safety and quality is critical in this demanding role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute welding with GMAW & GTAW as per specifications
• Develop fixture concepts in collaboration with team members
• Conduct safe welding and grinding operations
• Work from detailed blueprints for accurate outputs
• Document quality reports and maintain cleanliness
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 diploma
• 3-5 years of relevant welding experience
• High proficiency in Mig and Flux Core welding
• GTAW and Red Seal Certification are advantages
• Familiarity with WHMIS and MSDS
