Rush Truck Centres of Canada is hiring for a Diesel Mechanic or Apprentice in Oshawa, specializing in truck and automotive repairs. Focus on compliance, safety, and technical service excellence.
This full-time position reports to the Service Manager and is responsible for diagnosing problems and executing repairs on a diverse range of vehicles. You will be part of a dedicated team, maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring a safe working environment. This role includes continuous training and potential for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure vehicle compliance with OHSA regulations
• Perform detailed inspections and repairs on trucks
• Document and report all work and parts used
• Attend training sessions for ongoing development
• Maintain cleanliness of the workshop environment
Requirements:
• Licensed or Registered Apprentice (310T or 310S)
• Quality-driven with strong communication skills
• Clean Driver's Abstract and Criminal Record Check
• AZ/DZ License is an asset
• Willingness to engage in continuous training
